I'm not sure how big American Idol is over the waters. And I know ice hockey is definetely not big there. But I do have to share. My daughter Kelly is only 5. She really wants to be a firefighter part time. But what really cracked me up is the other day we were watching Idol. Now what you don't know is how much she sings. She sings EVERYthing on the radio word for word and even what I play on my cd player. Most of the time, at the top of her lungs and off key.

So when Idol came on tv the other day, I looked at her and said maybe someday she could be on tv singing for Idol. Instead, she looked at me in her most important 4 year old voice and said, "But mommy, Ican't sing. I'll be too busy playing hockey for the Red Wings".

I love her soooo much.
