Its a bit more than 22 gigs now. I am a huge fan of Paolo & I can be found at any Glasgow & Edinburgh gig of his. He's due to release his new album & tour dates soon (we hope) & hopefully i'll be attending as many UK dates as possible.
The best gigs ive seen him do are home gigs but the last two years at the Montreux Jazz Festival were phenomonal. Last year Paolo was invited to duet with Petula Clarke (by Petula Clarke)at Quincy Jones 75th Birthday celebrations & I managed to squeeze my wee self on the guest list. It was truly an honour to attend such a star studded gig, not only onstage but off it too. I spent half my time debating whether the man standing about 6 feet from me was actually Mick Jagger, which it was but I just could not get my mouth open to speak to him. The words didnt come & I had ample opportunity to chat to him. Truly a night i will never forget! I also attended the rehersals in the afternoon for the evening gig, that was something special. I sneaked some video footage but not much, its on my YouTube - inaura17
I did know about the Abbey Road gig but no way of getting to London.
I'd sell my soul to attend that gig
